With highly skilled clinicians who specialize in the full range of mental health concerns, there is someone at Freedom Psychological Center who is equipped to see you through your current struggle to the freedom you desire. Whether you are well versed with therapy and are ready to dive in again or you are cautiously considering therapy for the first time, our team is committed to helping you identify and remove the obstacles of mental and emotional unrest so you can get back to your life or even feel alive for the first time.
As licensed and highly trained professionals, our team treats individuals and couples in English or Spanish through the framework of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT or Tapping), behavioral medicine (hypnotherapy, pain management, biofeedback), motivational interviewing, and spiritually oriented psychotherapy. At Freedom Psychological Center, we establish a safe and supportive therapeutic environment to address the core and underlying issues associated with your current struggles.
At Freedom Psychological Center, you will be heard and understood, challenged and encouraged as you gain insight and practical tools to break problematic cycles and navigate your way to a satisfying and full life.
Book an initial session with one of our therapists by clicking on "Request Appointment" found at the top of the page or below each therapist's profile. Before your visit, fill out the intake paperwork that is emailed to you so that your therapist will know a bit about you going into your first appointment.
The first one or two sessions are for intake and treatment planning. During this time, you will share your story and what led to your decision to seek help. Your therapist will assess the presenting problems and your recent symptoms. If you decide that your therapist is a good fit for the therapeutic work you are wanting to do, they will develop a treatment plan to address the goals you establish together.
The subsequent sessions will be focused on carrying out the treatment plan. Your therapist will guide you as you process distressing memories, address aspects of your life you would like to change, and work to see your goals become reality. You will be equipped to break free of current strongholds and maintain that freedom in the days ahead.

It is the greatest privilege for me, as a therapist, to be invited into to this journey with you, to be trusted with your story and with your pain, and to get to walk alongside you as we navigate your way to the freedom you long for. Although you may currently feel lost and overwhelmed, weary from trying to manage things on your own, my aim is to get clarity on exactly what is going on, make sense of your symptoms, and work to get you lasting relief. Together, we will explore your purpose and values, break free from the addictions that have plagued you for far too long, and revive your relationships. We will work to restore balance in your life by equipping you to address areas that are out of control and helping you be at peace with letting go of control, when necessary. I am here for you and committed to your freedom.

It is an honor for me to come alongside you to help you live a more centered life that improves your mood, relationships, and career. We will work together to gain relief and freedom from what is troubling you. By assessing what brought you in to therapy, implementing a plan of action, and sending you back into the world, you will be ready to live a more full life. I work with children (ages 6+), individuals, couples, and families. I particularly enjoy helping teenage and adult men become more positive influences on those around them. I can integrate faith, the Bible, and spirituality into the counseling process, as desired. I use a combination of brief and thought-based therapy techniques (CBT and SFBT) along with EMDR.
